Books with tear-out portions. -In duplicating-books comprising leaves folded along the outer edge so that there is a margin on the duplicate sheet at the binding edge, a wide margin is provided for the reception of advertisements, price lists, &c. Advertisements may be printed on the margin, or additional sheets printed as a price list and of the same width as the margin may be attached by adhesive to the margin of the duplicate sheet, or, as shown in Fig. 3, the edge of the duplicate sheet b<1> may be folded over and secured on three edges y, h to form a marginal pocket c' to receive printed matter f. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 13740/99.
