Multiple pads for manifolding; books with tear-out portions; carbon papers, arrangements of and means for manipulating. - A sales book comprises a number of leaves bound into a stub and a number of sets of auxiliary leaves, the leaves of each set being attached together and detachably attached to one of the bound leaves with the free ends of all the leaves extending in the same direction. In one form, Figs. 1 and 2, a pair of auxiliary leaves 1, 2, formed by folding a single sheet, are attached by a spot or line of adhesive 8 to each of a number of leaves 3 bound together into a stub by staples 6 and detachable by a line of perforations 7. The book is provided with covers 9, 10, and to the cover 10 are attached two carbon sheets 13, 14 adapted to be inserted between the leaves 1, 2, 3. Notches 15, 16 of different depths are provided in the sheets 13, 14 to facilitate the insertion of the point of a pencil to separate the sheets from each other and from the leaves of the book. An extension 12 of the cover 10 forms a guard for the ends of the leaves 1, 2, 3 and the told of the carbon sheets. In another form. Fig. (i, a pair of auxiliary leaves 29, 30 are attached together by a line of adhesive 34 and associated with a third leaf 31, the leaves 29, 31 being bound into a stub from which they may be detached by the aid of lines of perforations 35. The sheet 30 may be transparent, in which case a single carbon sheet 36 having a notch 37 to facilitate manipulation is provided or all the sheets may be opaque, two carbon sheets, constructed and arranged as described above, being provided.
