443,067. Filing papers; bookbinding. MOLIER, G., MOLIER, C., and MOLIER, D. J. J., (trading as MOLIER & ZOON, G.), 14A, Prinsegracht, The Hague. June 7, 1935, No. 16570. Convention date, June 16, 1934. [Classes 16 and 146 (i)] In a binding arrangement for loose sheets &c. comprising substantially D-shaped flat clips 2 of open construction, the free ends 5, 6 of which and consequently the openings are located at the straight side of the D, which is at the back of the book, the free ends of the clips overlap each other. The leaves are formed with apertures to be engaged by the clips and the cover halves are formed with two sets of similar apertures arranged on each side of a fold and with overlapping back portions 13, 14. The clips are inserted through the covers and leaves, which are then turned to the position shown in Fig. 2, after which the back portions 13, 14 are united as by glueing. The clips are preferably somewhat resilient and flexible and are formed with rounded corners 8.
