[Class 60] A tool-grinding machine comprises a frame L on which is a stand 2 supporting a spindle 3 carrying a cup-shaped grinding-wheel 5, the stand also having mounted therein, parallel to the spindle 3, a barrel 6, slidable and angularly adjustable; and supporting a bar 7 on which is mounted a housing 12, for holding an engraving-tool during sharpening. The housing is mounted on perpendicular slides 13, 11 on an arm 10 adjustable angularly on a member 9, which is adjustable angularly on an axis transverse to the bar 7 in a sleeve 8, mounted on the bar. For holding other tools, a chuck 23 and a centre are provided on a member 22, angularly adjustable about piots 24 on a body angularly adjustable on a vertically adjustable slide 18 on a post 17, which is angularly and transversely adjustable on a transverse slide 16; the slide 16 is angularly adjustable on a longitudinal slide 14. A wheel guard 25 is provided having a T-section slot 31 in its outer face to allow of angular adjustment, and fixation by means of a bolt carried in a part 26, which is adjustable, by means of a slot and bolts, parallel to the axis of the spindle 3, on the stand 2. The tool-holders are movable to positions shown in dotted lines, when not in use, so that either holder may be used without interference by the other holder
