[Class 104 (ii)] A resilient chair-pad b comprises a base bl supporting a' chair plate a, and an integral member b<4> extending through an aperture a<4> in the plate a and supporting the rail base clear of the chair plate. The pad is composed of natural or synthetic rubber or fabric enveloped by rubber, and the base b<1> may be reinforced by fabric or cord material. The holes b<2>, b<3> for the rail and plate spikes are smaller than the cross-section of the spikes to prevent the passage of moisture.
