[Class 35] A compounded wave wound welding generator supplying two or more output circuits connected to the same or interconnected brushes has series windings associated with different magnetic circuits connected respectively in series with different output circuits. In the form shown, the electrode E<1> is connected to the directly connected brushes A2, A4 of a welding generator through the series windings C<1>, C<2> and the commutating pole windings H<1>, H<2> and the same brushes are connected through series windings C3, C<4> and commutating pole windings H<3>, H<4> to the electrode E<2>, there being also a shunt coil B<1>, B2, B3 or B4 on each main pole. Alternatively, there may be only two series windings placed either on opposite poles or on adjacent poles and there may be more than two output circuits.
