Abstract
504,673. Veneers; plywood. DYAS HOLZINDUSTRIE AKT.-GES. March 2, 1938, No. 6614. Convention date, March 2, 1937. [Class 145 (ii)] One or more of the wooden sheet layers of plywood or cabinet maker's sheets is replaced by a layer of wood strips or chips with or without the addition of other material such as straw, textile fibres and metal or glass chips. The components of this layer are connected to one another and to the adjacent wooden sheet layer or layers or the built-up inner layer of a cabinet maker's sheet by an adhesive and under pressure. This special layer may be used as an outer covering or as a strengthening lay or as both. Specifications 480,129 and 485,588 are referred to.
