Abstract
452,207. Laminated plates. NOVOSELSKIS, A., 29, Krasta iela, and BERSIN, A., 25, Kr. Barona iela, both in Riga, Latvia. Jan. 17, 1935, Nos. 1638 and 1639. Convention dates, Jan 17, 1934 and March 13, 1934. [Class 140] Laminated plates are formed by covering a single layer of wood veneer on each side with a layer of paper, pasteboard, or other insulating material such as paper pulp by coating the layers with glue and uniting them under light pressure in a drying atmosphere at approximately 100‹ C. The adhesive may contain fireproofing or waterproofing materials. Additional layers of veneer, plywood, paper, &c. may be secured to the covered veneer, wood being secured to paper &c. in the manner set forth above, and paper &c. layers being interconnected by a cold glueing process.
