Abstract
504,398. Door - operating appliances. NETTLE FOLD & SONS, Ltd., and NETTLEFOLD, H. Oct. 29, 1937, No. 29569. [Class 65 (i)] In a door-operating appliance of the kind comprising a coil spring a coupled to a radial lever arm c, the free end e of the arm is guided in a fixed track f mounted on the lintel &c. of the door. The shape of the track varies with the degree of angular movement of the door. In another form, the end of the arm c is pivoted to a link, the free end of which moves in the track. The track may be of T-shape engaged on opposite sides by rollers on the end of the arm.
