Abstract

302,624. Turton, T. F. Sept. 8, 1927. Operating doors by link mechanism; stays.-The operating links comprise a link 2 connected to an intermediate part of a link 1 the extension of which forms a handle that is associated with a spring catch 13 adapted to engage a notched quadrant to hold the door in the open and closed positions, the links forming a Y-shape when the door is opened and being substantially in line when the door is closed. A stop 6 on one of the links allows the hinge pin 4 to pass over the aligned position of the links when the door is closed. The members 11, 2 forming one of the links have a screwed connection so that the length of this link may be adjusted.
