Abstract

503,501. Automatic tuning correction. COLE, Ltd., E. K., and BRADFIELD, G. Oct. 6, 1937, No. 27031. [Class 40 (v)] A frequency discriminator network of the phase - variation type comprises a circuit A tuned to the I.F. of a superheterodyne receiver and coupled to a circuit B tuned to the same frequency, and also coupled to coils C D which are connected differentially to a double-diode rectifier V2. The common point of coils C D is connected td circuit B over a blocking condenser 3. The coils A B C D may be mounted in the same screening can, A C and D being on one former or core and B on a second former or core. In a modification, coils C D may be coupled to B by a further coil and they may be jointly tuned to the I.F. by a parallel condenser.
