498,276. Filters. BREITWISCH, JUN., C. E. Jan. 14, 1938, No. 1354. Convention date, Jan. 14, 1937. [Class 46] Beer from fermenting vats, before passing to a storage vat, is passed through pipes 20 to an intermediate container 5 provided with sieves 11, 12 by which the beer is filtered. The sieves fit at the bottom in annular grooves in a base-plate 2 and at the top are connected by a detachable plate 14 held in place by screwed rods 15 and nuts 16. The casing 6 of the container is detachably secured to the base-plate 2 by means of hook screws 7. The filtered beer flows through a pipe 24 adapted to be connected to the storage vat.
