Abstract
494,899. Ventilators. LECLERCQ, R. E. March 30, 1937, No. 9040. Convention date, March 28, 1936. [Class 137] Foul air is exhausted from a room by a suction shaft 1 having louvred openings 7 on its front face, and similar openings on its side faces through which air enters and passes upwards to an outlet 9, the suction drawing air from the room through a passage 3. Fresh air is supplied to the room through a conduit 2 having an inlet 10, and extending parallel to the wall 4 of the room, the direction of the incoming fresh air being in a direction opposite to that of the outgoing air. Valves may be provided in the air inlet and outlet, and may be interconnected and manually or automatically operated.
