494,426. Gas - storage cylinders. ALUMINIUM - INDUSTRIE - AKT. - GES. April 29, 1937, No. 12283. Convention date, Dec. 23, 1936. Drawings to Specification. [Class 8 (ii)] A vessel made of light metal for storing oxygen or oxygen containing gas mixtures under pressure has the interior surface or both the interior and exterior surfaces coated with an oxide or fluoride or other difficultly fusible compound of the metal. The oxide or fluoride may be produced by electrolytical or chemical processes. The coating may be treated for closing the pores and lacquered or varnished.
