494,076. Letting-off warps and looms &c. BRITISH CELANESE, Ltd. April 8, 1938, No. 10785. Convention date, April 15, 1937. [Class 142 (ii)] The ends 11, 12 of the brake band of a warp beam are drawn together by an adjustable spring, a weighted cord 29, or other means. They are also connected by toggle links 17, 25, the latter being extended at 24 and flexibly connected with some fixed point 27 of the loom frame. When the brake sticks to the drum 5, the pull on the extension 24 straightens the toggle and reduces the brake pressure.
