Abstract

489,184. Endless - chain conveyers. CAMPBELL. H. Feb. 1, 1937, No. 2922. [Class 78 (i)] In a conveyer of the kind in which the load is carried on platforms A, each platform is formed integral with a bridge-like support 3 and with two parallel lugs 5. Connecting links B are attached to adjacent platform members by a vertical pin 2 and by a horizontal pin 4, the arrangement being such that a line drawn through the centre line of the pins 4 would pass clear of the bearing surfaces of the pins 2. Each pair of lugs 5 has bearing surfaces 7 on which the end of the adjacent platform seats when the platforms are in alignment.
