853,214. Endless chain conveyers. FISHER & LUDLOW Ltd. Feb. 3, 1959 [Feb. 20, 1958], No. 5504/58. Class 78 (1). In an endless chain conveyer for conveying goods of the kind wherein the conveyer chain is provided with load-supporting rollers 16 by which it is supported from a track composed of two track portions 11 which extend on opposite sides of the conveyer chain and in which parts 21 of the track portions extend below the level of the conveyer chain and are spaced transversely apart to provide therebetween an opening for the passage of supporting means for goods in the form of two spaced-apart dependent plates 23, each dependent plate adjacent opposite ends only of its upper edges is bent outwardly at 27 for connection directly to a pair of links 20 of the chains, this connection being effected by bolts passing through mating apertures 26 in the plate 23 and in the links 20, and spacers 28. A pin 30 is secured between the lower ends of the plate 23 to receive a loadcarrying hook 31. Specifications 639,244 and 723,734 are referred to.
