Abstract

897,549. Endless articulated platform conveyers. SUPREME CONVEYOR BELT CO. Ltd. Nov. 23, 1960 [Sept. 10, 1959], No. 30867/59. Class 78 (1). An endless conveyer consists of a series of platforms 10 each having welded to its underside a box-like structure 12 of sheet-metal having an open end, within which a connecting link block 15 is received on a horizontal pivot pin 14 secured in the sides of the structure 12, and a closed end provided with a horizontal flange 124, the opposite end of an adjacent block 15 being received between the flange 124 and the platform on a vertical pin 13 secured in the platform and flange. The spaces between the ends of the blocks 15 inserted into the structures 12 and the closed ends of the structures 12 are adapted to receive the teeth of a driving sprocket.
