Endless-chain conveyers with linked carriers; moving platforms; guiding chains.-A chain conveyer comprises a. central conveying chain 2 with alternate link pivots at right angles in combination with attached platforms 8 having semicircular or rounded interfitting ends 8b, the whole arrangement being such that each platform unit can move both vertically and laterally relatively to the adjacent units and the conveyer as a whole being such that it can be driven simultaneously by both horizontal and vertical sprocket wheels. Specification 224,689, [Class 24, Chains &c.], is referred to in the Provisional Specification.
