Abstract

210,957. Thomson, D. B. Jan. 11, 1923. Driving-gear for endless - chain conveyers; guiding.-In chains for carrying shelves or goods in moving display devices for shop windows &c. the links 4 are connected by pins 3 on which are mounted flanged wheels 2, and rollers 6 are mounted in the links with their axes at right angles to those of the wheels. A pair of T-section rails 1 act as guides for the wheels and are also engageable by the rollers. The chain is driven by a worm 9 which engages pegs 8 secured to the links.
