Abstract

1,083,676. Endless conveyers. BAGSHAWE & CO. May 28, 1964 [May 30, 1963], No. 21593/63. Heading B8A. Load carriers 30 are supported on each side (one side only visible in Fig. 4) by a pair of chains 31, 32. On one vertical run only of the conveyer, the chains 31, 32 are spaced horizontally so as to maintain the carriers 30 horizontal. At each end of the other vertical run, the two chains on each side of the load carriers pass over guide sprockets 13 on a common axle 13. Each carrier 30 comprises rods 36 (Fig. 5) carried by links 33 which are alternately joined to links 34. Abutment members 35 permit the carrier flex in one direction so as to turn around the return pulleys but maintains it from flexing in the opposite direction.
