[Class 39 (iii)] A heated press plate consists of a main plate c having no internal heating device but provided at least on one side with a thin metal sheet d through which the heating current is passed. The plate c may be formed of plywood or metal. In the latter case a layer of insulation is provided between sheet d and plate c. The plate may be provided with passages for a cooling medium.
