532,221. Coating with selenium. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. Aug. 22, 1939, No. 24184. Convention date, Aug. 23, 1938. [Class 82 (ii)] [Also in Group XXXVI] Selenium, vaporized on to a carrier electrode. in vacuo or under regulated pressure, is subjected to a further heat treatment to coarsen the grain. The heating may be in air to a higher temperature than that at which the selenium is first applied and it may take place under pressure. The plate is then rapidly cooled.
