Abstract
689,865. Electric condensers. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. Feb. 20, 1951 [Feb. 22, 1950], No. 4115/51. Class 37. A condenser 1 has a flexible metallic case 3 contained within an outer casing 13, 2 so that on expansion or contraction of the outer casing, due to temperature, the case 3 is always maintained in contact with the outer casing so as to facilitate cooling by conduction. Where a plurality of units 1 are contained in an envelope, spaces are left between them to permit circulation of a filling liquid due to local heating and thus facilitate dissipation of heat to the envelope.
