Abstract

The inductor is contained in a ceramic container which contains oil, and is water cooled. The bottom of the ceramic container is directly in contact with the susceptor, avoiding need for an insulating plate or a cooling grid on the bottom of the inductor. The appts. enables plates to be heated rapidly, but more specif. to be rapidly cooled, the rate of cooling being increased ten times compared with conventional presses.
