Handles.-To provide a large cooling surface and a small surface for contact with the hand, a saucepan &c. handle of aluminium or other metal of high heat conductivity is cast in the form of flat strip 2 with an elongated slot 3. The handle may be formed by die-casting and is preferably of section as shown in Fig. 3.
