Abstract

483,381. Bales; sacks. CARLIN, J. Oct. 15, 1936, No. 28062. [Classes 94 (i) and 94 (ii)] Wool - packs, &c. are formed by coating two lengths A, B of fabric with an adhesive such as rubber latex, and laying one across the other so that they are adhered together over the area C by the latex. Pressure may be applied to the area, which may be temporarily heated. The other portions of the fabric may be coated with powdered sulphur, zinc oxide and/or talc. The rough edges H may be folded over and pressed into the adhesive. The ends are folded up and secured by twine F, one end being long enough to form a cover. Specification 483,393, [Group VIII], is referred to.
