Abstract

784,801. Cartons; packaging. AKTIEBOLAGET AKERLUND & RAUSING. June 1, 1955 [June 16, 1954], No. 15724/55. Addition to 729,284. Classes 18 and 94(1). The carton described in the Specification and the sealing sheets, have an inner coating 17 of plastic, wax, rubber &c. applied in liquid or sheet form. The coating on the carton covers and stretches with the tufts 7 formed between the closure flaps when these are spread outwardly. The sealing sheet coating adheres to the carton coating to form an improved seal. Another modification, when the glue lap 16 of the carton extends across the closure flaps 4, consists in sealing the channel formed by the edge of the lap beneath the sealing sheets 8 at each end by indentations 20.
