482,802. Indicating liquid levels. GIERS, C. A. DE. Aug. 23, 1937, No. 23088. Convention date, May 21. [Class 123 (i)] The movements of a float 10 are transmitted by links 18, 22, 26, 28 to a pair of bellows 36, 38 which are connected by pipes 41, 43 to a remote indicator, the system being filled with liquid. The bellows 36, 38 are protected from the fluid in the tank by a sealing bellows 58, and may themselves be surrounded by oil. Bellows 58 may be of heavy metal and is readily renewable by removing the cover 50. In a modification, the casing 47, 54 may be arranged within the tank. A number of such indicators may be employed in a tank which is too narrow in relation to its height to permit the use of a single indicator.
