Indicators actuated by floats. - A liquid level indicator for use particularly in the reservoir of an oil lamp or in the fuel tank of an engine comprises a cup - shaped member adapted to fit an opening in the top of the reservoir and having tongues b, c, forming bearings for the spindle of a float-actuated toothedquadrant j and a coacting wheel h. The wheel is secured to the spindle e which carries a pointer g moving over a graduated disc forming the top of the cup-shaped member.
