Abstract

197,812. Stevenson, J. April 19, 1922. Indicators, electric. - In an electricallyactuated liquid-level indicator for tanks &c., a cylinder A beneath the tank contains a spring- controlled piston B under pressure of the liquid, the piston-rod having attached a plate D, an insulating plate E, and a spring contact F which moves between a resistance H and a plate I to complete the circuit through an ammeter L and battery K. The ammeter has detachable scales graduated to suit liquids of different specific gravity.
