[Class 135] A device for silencing ball cocks and like valves used in lavatory and other cisterns comprises a perforated disc L fitted in the flanged union piece which secures the supply pipe to the screwed valve tail. The holes M in the disc are tapered in the direction of flow so reducing the tendency for dirt to collect.
