482,065. Delivering measured quantities. DEGORY, A., HAWKINS, R. S., and LIBOVITZ, C. J. H., (trading as ALAN & CO., D.). Feb. 10, 1937, No. 4015. [Class 102 (i)] Apparatus for delivering measured quantities of liquid,e.g, upper-cylinder lubricant, comprises a container 1 carrying a pump cylinder 6, the piston 7 of which is operated by a sleeve 8, sliding on the exterior of the cylinder. The container comprises a glass cylinder clamped between end caps 14, 15 by bolts 18. The cap 14 carries the handle 17, and the cylinder 6 is secured to the cap 15 by studs 12. The cap 15 also carries a filter 26 and the pump suction valve 3. The discharge valve 4 is housed in the piston rod, which carries a discharge nozzle 10. Air is admitted to the container by valves 24, 25 and a tube 23.
