Abstract

836,600. Reciprocating pumps. TECALEMIT Ltd. (Deutsche Tecalemit G.m.b.H.) July 4 1956. No. 20746/56. Class 102(1). A piston 14 draws liquid through a filter 22 and discharges it to an outlet 25. The piston is forced down by air pressure and upwards by areating a vacuum in the cylinder by means of a compressed air actuated ejection 32 the pressure / vacuum supply to the cylinder being controlled by a three-way valve 27. The discharge is controlled by limiting the upward movement of the piston by fitting a stop pin 19 in various holes 18. The piston may in addition be actuated manually in which case the downward movement of the piston is limited. A sight glass 34 or dip stick is provided ; the compressed air may be supplied through an adjustable reducing valve with a pressure gauge. A stroke counter may be provided.
