Abstract

373,049. Spray-producers. TURRALL, C. H., 103, Woodshires Green, Longford, and WEST, W., 52, Coniston Road, Earlsdon, both in Coventry. Oct. 28, 1931, No. 29847. [Class 69 (iii).] Apparatus for spraying light liquids comprises a liquid container A mounted on a nozzle member N having a T-shaped passage therein. The vessel is provided with a valved opening T leading to the nozzle M and an adjustable vent 1. Within the vessel A is a tube C containing a plunger D carrying at its upper end a needle valve for closing the vent I, and connected by a rod R to a needle valve L so that compressed air simultaneously closes the vent I and opens the valve T. Air admitted through the passage K raises the plunger D and ejects and atomizes liquid at the nozzle M.
