Abstract

365,865. Spray-producers. STANLEY, J., 60, St. James Road, Gorringe Park, Mitcham, Surrey. March 12, 1931, No. 7646. [Class 69 (iii).] An air pressure atomizer is provided with a valve casing a, Figs. 1 and 2, having two ports b, c, Fig. 2, arranged in juxtaposition. The port b communicates with an air supply pipe g normally closed by a spring-pressed valve e, and the port c communicates with the atomizer and is normally open. A pivoted lever h for .opening the valve e, e.g. by its stem i, is provided with a recess containing a washer k to connect the ports b, c and form a tight seal with the casing a. The casing a may be mounted on a stopper p carrying concentric air and liquid tubes leading to an atomizing nozzle.
