Plug cocks; stops, adjustable. - A petrol tap having two inlet pipes for drawing from different levels, is provided with a stop which normally prevents the operation of the plug to allow the reserve supply to be drawn off. The body a is screwed into the under surface of the tank, and the two inlet passages d, e are adapted to draw off from different levels. The two passages d, e may be connected to a single outlet c by turning the plug so that either of the two passages b<2>, b<3> in the plug registers with the corresponding passage d or e. The plug is normally prevented from turning into register with the passage e by means of a spring- pressed plunger f which projects into the cut-away part of the washer h which rotates with the plug. Further rotation of the plug is only possible if the plunger f is retracted.
