Abstract
481,272. Hot-water boilers. HOYER, J. V. GUDMAND-. Nov. 30,1937, No. 33067. Convention date, Dec. 14, 1936. [Class 64 (i)] In a central - heating boiler comprising separable interconnected water-filled units connected individually or collectively by pipes with joints outside the boiler to an outlet chamber and an inlet chamber, the units comprise two mainly cylindrical water jackets 1, 2 separated by a downwardly discharging annular flue 6, a pipe coil 3 with a collecting chamber, and a fuel magazine with water-filled walls 4 ; and the outer water jacket 1 is connected to a return pipe 12 and to a collecting chamber 14, which is outside the boiler and is connected to the other units, each of which is connected separately to a common outlet chamber 21. Pipes 15 which support the grate 5 connect the lower part of the jacket 2 to the collecting chamber 14, which is connected by pipes 13, 24, 28 to the other units. The units 2, 3, 4 are connected by pipes 20, 25, 29 respectively to the outlet chamber 21, so that the coil 3 and unit 4 each form a separate circuit from the collecting chamber 14 to the outlet chamber 21. The water jackets 1, 2 are connected to the return pipe 12 and to the outlet chamber 21 to form a separate closed circuit.
