Abstract

478,113. Pumps for pasty materials. JAGENBERG-WERKE AKT.-GES. June 15, 1937, No. 16598. Convention date. June 18, 1936. [Class 102 (i)] In a pump for delivering measured quantities of pasty material, the material is supplied from a hopper 1 to a cylinder 2, the inlet and discharge orifices being controlled by slide valves 4, 9. The latter are operated by links 7, 10 from a bell-crank lever 5, 6, carrying a pin engaging a cam-groove in a disc 11, which also carries an adjustable crank-pin 17 for operating the plunger 13. The links 7, 9 and the connecting-rod 14 are detachably connected to the valves and plunger, preferably by hook joints, as shown.
