[Class 116] An apparatus for dispensing milk charged with oxygen comprises a vessel with a screwed cap J through which a tube F having a gauze strainer P projects, this tube being fitted with a valve H which may be coupled to a delivery pipe mounted in a fitting A secured by a nut E to a counter D. The delivery pipe may have a nozzle Y with a worm rotated by the liquid stream, as described in Specification 421,141, [Group VI]. The vessel has a relief valve L, a pressure gauge M and a non-return valve which may be connected to a pipe U coupled to an oxygen cylinder W. The vessel having been about three-quarters filled with milk, oxygen is admitted to create about two pounds per square inch pressure within the vessel, and the vessel is then shaken to mix the milk and oxygen. Further oxygen is then admitted to create a delivery pressure of about thirty pounds per square inch. The vessel may be mounted in a jacket R containing water which may be heated by a gas ring T ; or ice may be placed under the vessel to cool the milk. Drain holes may be provided where necessary. According to the Provisional Specification, water may be placed in the vessel, and air under pressure or carbon dioxide may be used as the charging gas. The aerated liquid is used to dilute ice cream or fruit juice. Further, the apparatus may be mounted on a vehicle.
