Abstract

288,310. Tsitovitsch, B. P. April 8, 1927, [Convention date]. Spray, freezing.-Liquid colloids, such as fruit and plant juices, medicinal sera, beer, milk and cream are rapidly frozen into an amorphous cordition by spraying into still air in a chamber maintained below the freezing-point of the liquid. By this means the structure of the substance remains unbroken and the water is not separated out. Specifications 1924/13, 145,048 and 235,263 are referred to.
