477,507. Vacuum cleaner nozzles. ELECTROLUX, Ltd. June 30, 1936, No. 11285/37. Convention date, July 2, 1935. Divided out of 477,452. [Class 8 (i)] A vacuum-cleaner nozzle 10 is divided into three compartments 11, 12, 13 and a member 15, connected to the suction conduit 19 engages cylindrical surfaces 14 on the nozzle 10 and has a long slot 17 which connects all the compartments 11, 12, 13 to the conduit 19, and short slot 16 which connects the central compartment 12 only to the conduit. Rotary movement of the member 15 determines which of these connections is made. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also the subject-matter shown in Figs. 11-14 of Specification 477,452, and Figs. 24-27 (Cancelled) of that Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
