Convention date, Jan. 4. [Class 8 (i)] A vacuum-cleaner nozzle is formed with two orifices a, b, the former being in direct connection with the suction pipe p and the latter having its end remote from the nozzle face controlled by a rotary valve f. When the valve is open air passing through it crosses the raised bridge e between the orifices and thus loosens threads. The nozzle is pivotally connected to the pipe p.
