Abstract

690,645. Vacuum cleaner brushes. ELECTROLUX, Ltd. Dec. 22, 1950 [Dec. 22, 1949], No. 31228/50. Class 19. [Also in Group XXVIII] A suction nozzle for a vacuum cleaner (see Group XXVIII) has a removable brush adapted to be inserted between the ribs 14, 15 of the nozzle or between a rib and the side of the nozzle. The brush has two rows of bristles 24 and a flange 25 having projections 27 at its end which engage behind the edges 19, 20 of the ribs for securing the brush.
