802,354. Suction cleaners. WESSEL, H. Jan. 19, 1955 [Feb. 26, 1954 ; Dec. 18, 1954], No. 5268/57. Divided out of 802,353. Addition to 763,340. Class 8(1). A suction cleaner brush has two substantially parallel rows of slots 10, 11, 12 and 7. 8, 9, extending lengthwise, each of the slots 7, 8, 9 being wider than the slots 10, 11, 12. The narrower slots may open closer to the floor than the wider slots. The two rows of slots may be adjacent the same edge of the brush. The brush bristles may extend onto the webs between the slots and a protective rib 6 may be located between the bristles.
