324,602. Hoover, Ltd., (Hoover Co.). May 14, 1929. Vacuum cleaning- apparatus. - In a means of attaching a brush to the suction nozzle of a vacuum cleaner, an adaptor 14 of rubber, or other resilient material, is constructed to fit on a beaded nozzle 12 and also retain the backing 16 of a brush 18. The walls 19 of the adaptor are extended almost as far as the free ends of the bristles, to cause all the suction air to pass over the surface being cleaned.
