474,515. Vehicle windows. CHRISTOPH & UNMACK AKT.-GES. March 30, 1937, No. 9077. Convention date, March 30, 1936. [Class 20 (iii)] A sliding window and a screen, such as a jalousie for a railway vehicle, are connected in the same plane and movable by regulator mechanism so that either may close the window aperture. In the arrangement shown, the glass panel 1 is connected to the upper edge of the jalousie 2 and may be raised to close the window aperture, as shown, or elevated to the space behind the anti-dazzle screen 8 and roof frame 7 to allow the jalousie to close the aperture. The pocket extends below the floor of the vehicle and is accessible through a flap 13 to oil the screwed shaft 6 of the regulator mechanism.
