Vehicle windows; frames. -The sliding frameless glass panel C of a vehicle window is mounted in a channel lining D preferably of felt, such as is used in the back-checks of pianos. The lining is retained in the rabbeted frame A by a stop bead E, preferably of folded metal screwed to the frame, and is sufficiently compressed to prevent rattling and the entry of rain &c.
