469,935. Control of A.C. motors. CRABTREE & CO., Ltd., J. A., and McLOUGHLIN, H. F. Jan. 3, 1936, No. 225. [Class 38 (iii)] A star-delta motor starter with contactors for effecting the star and delta connections, and connecting the motor to the supply, is provided with thermal overload releases c<1>, c<2>, c<3>, connected between the phase windings a<1>, a<2>, a<3>, and the contactors of the starter, so that the current in any one motor phase winding is the same as in the overload release associated with it. Specifications 439,242 and 469,930 are referred to.
