Abstract
469,353. Snap - action switches. ALDINGER, O. Nov. 2, 1936, No. 29822. Convention date, Nov. 5, 1935. [Class 38 (v)] A switching device specially suitable for mounting in the handle of a hot-air douche for controlling the circuits to the motor and the heater comprises two push-buttons d, e which respectively move " on " and "off" two tumbler-like switches. The push-buttons are pressed apart by a spring f and as shown one of them may be stepped as at h and i so as to engage the operating levers q of the tumbler switches successively. Thus pressure on the button d causes the motor circuit to be closed before the heating circuit and pressure on the button e causes both circuits to be opened simultaneously. A similar result may be obtained by displacing the switches on their holder. The switches may also control other circuits. The casing for the device is made in two parts which are held together by a clamp z and screw c.
